Continuing Education

CHESS sees continuing education and training on higher education and science management and on higher education and science research as one of its central tasks.

Under the umbrella of the Leadership and Governance Academy, CHESS promotes and develops a university-specific understanding of leadership. The aim is to develop the "UZH Way of Leadership" through a shared culture of leadership and cooperation.
The CAS "Leadership und Governance an Hochschulen" is a continuing education program tailored to the growing field of new university professions. Since fall 2016, the CAS has been offered with the aim of providing individuals with leadership and management responsibilities at universities with the necessary skills.
H.I.T. is a leadership program open to women professors from all Swiss universities. The four key components are leadership training, networking opportunities, academic leadership circles and personalized coaching.
